Francis Newbery’s paintings and murals celebrated the local crafts and cottage industries of Bridport, depicting the dignity of the people and their work.

You too can be a maker this half term – children and adults will be able to have a go at ropemaking, weaving, knot making, dressing up and mixed media art at Bridport Museum.

Family friendly drop-in activity, no extra cost and no booking is required. Admission to Bridport Museum is free for all under 21s.

Normal admissions charge of £5 for an annual pass applies to adults 21 and over.
