Autumn is a bountiful season for foraged food. To celebrate the season of fruitfulness, we invite you to join us at our cellar door for a foraging talk and tasting with local company Found & Fine.
Foraging experts and chefs Neal & Catriona Chainey of Found & Fine will talk you through a selection of locally foraged ingredients to include seabuckthorn, samphire, porcini mushrooms and elderberries. You will learn where best to find them, how to prepare or preserve them, as well as tasty recipe ideas. You will then get to enjoy the flavour of these foraged foods in the form of six canapes prepared by Neal & Catriona such as venison carpaccio with pickled elderberry and trout tartar croustade with sea buckthorn. Along with the canapes you will be served a glass of Furleigh sparkling and still wine to compliment the food.
