The Bridport and District Allotments Society (BADAS) meets quarterly and is a contact point and support group for allotment-holders in the Bridport area. The Society maintains close contact with the main provider of allotments, Bridport Town Council, and neighbouring parish councils. Good relations and initiatives of the Society, the councils and local landowners has resulted in one of the country’s fastest expanding supply of plots.
Membership of the Society costs £2 per annum, and the Treasurer, Mandy Rathbone, will be pleased to receive subscriptions at any time. Enquiries to email@example.com. Members of the Society are entitled to discounts on gardening supplies from Groves Nurseries and other suppliers, also automatically receive a copy of the Society’s quarterly Newsletter, containing news and advice.
Quarterly meetings of the Society are held at the Town Council offices at Mountfield, Rax Lane, Bridport. All members are welcome to attend. There are three vacancies on the committee, anyone interested should contact Lynne Atkinson (firstname.lastname@example.org).
