For those touched by cancer, their families, carers and supporters.
On Thursday 23rd March 2017 10.00am-4.00pm at Watercleaves, North Allington near Bridport.
Knowing what to eat can be confusing nowadays, but Naomi Devlin expertly peels away the diet myths to reveal how simple it is to eat well. Author of bestseller, River Cottage Gluten Free and recently published, Food for a Happy Gut, Naomi works with real food rather than supplements wherever she can and encourages people to get back in the kitchen and cook something delicious. Food should be a joyful part of our lives and healthy eating can be pretty easy when you know what to do!
The workshop will be tailored as much as possible to the attendees needs and will include a session on making fermented pickles for salads such as sauerkraut and kimchi. We may cover: low fibre diets, FODMAP diets, gut health, simple meals, what to eat when you have no appetite, hot flushes, calcium levels, oestrogen foods, anti-inflammatories and blood sugar amongst other topics.
